EDITOR in Chief

Moses Ma is attempting to live the life of a modern Taoist – he was a hit videogame designer who invented the world’s first commercially successful Internet virtual reality game, Spectre VR; built from scratch the 97th largest, 7th fastest growing, and 11th most profitable software company in the US; helped invent the concept of eMarkets and helped to establish the foundational guidelines for the semantic Web; and is now an innovation coach to Fortune 500 companies. In terms of non-business pursuits, he was once a physicist, wrote a book of poetry, is now an emerging indie filmmaker... and is a student of the Complete Reality School of classical Taoism. He teaches qigong privately to a handful of exceptional students. He's doing this tantra stuff "on the side," because tantra people are so adorable and fun!

TANTRA Section

Aditi Devi began practicing Goddess worship in South Asia 19 years ago. As an initiated yogini—and with a Ph.D. in Anthropology, and as a Fulbright scholar and college professor—her research, writing, teaching, and practice all focus on the divine feminine in the Yogini traditions. To further her immersion in the depths of these lineages, she has taken off her traveling shoes, and is living at a Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Center.

Crystal Dawn Morris, is a Certified SkyDancing Tantra Teacher and the founder of Tantra for Awakening. Her classes, workshops and private coaching sessions give people practical tools for ecstatic living. She also teaches a one-year Tantra teacher training program. She is committed to creating supportive Tantra communities wherever she teaches. Crystal Dawn draws on a diverse background of experience- as an RN, a Certified Nurse-Midwife, Reiki Master, and a Shamanic Practitioner. She lives in Sedona, Arizona where she teaches Tantra, practices yoga, meditates, and lives an ecstatic life.

Deborah Taj Anapol, Ph.D. attended Barnard College, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley, and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington. Dr. Anapol is the author of Polyamory: The New Love Without Limits (1997), The Seven Natural Laws of Love (2005), and cofounder of Loving More Magazine. Her latest book, Polyamory in the 21st Century will be released in 2010. Dr. Anapol has worked with groups, partners, and individuals who are exploring conscious relationships, Tantra, and sexual healing for over three decades, leads workshops internationally, and is an inspiring and dynamic speaker.

Heather Ash Amara is a dancer, author, and teacher who loves supporting woman in reclaiming their juicy, wild, and divine selves. She is the co-founder of The Toltec Center of Creative Intent in Wimberley, TX and a mentor in the Eagle Knight lineage of don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements. Her teachings blend European shamanic wisdom, Toltec tools, and years of personal exploration. She has facilitated hundreds of workshops and firewalks over the past fifteen years.

Jivana Kennedy

Lokita Carter has been teaching Tantra and Ecstatic Living together with her husband Steve since 1999 to over 14,000 people in hundreds of workshops. Lineage holders of Margot Anand and her SkyDancing Tantra, they co-direct the SkyDancing Tantra Institute in the USA. Lokita is appreciated as an inspired teacher whose insight, compassion and clarity touches the heart, nourishes the mind and celebrates the body. She is also a published writer, an accomplished aquatic bodyworker, rebirthing therapist, and accounting software specialist.

INTEGRAL HEALTH Section

Elias Arjan (B.Sc.) has been professional in the fitness and health industry for over 17 years. Originally a fitness instructor, personal trainer and nutritional consultant. He later traveled globally to study Yoga, Martial Arts, Dance, Energy Medicine, Hypnotherapy, and various other holistic modalities. Eventually he adapted his movement skills to performance and was a circus artist for several years. Currently he travels widely, teaching, performing and lecturing on wide variety of subjects and to diverse audiences.

Sifu Randy Sugawara, Ph.D. teaches Tai Chi Ch'uan, Hsing-I, Bagua Chang and I-Chuan. He practices as a behavioral health educator with clients recovering from chemical dependency. He is also certified as a Tri Internal Martial Arts (TIMA) instructor and continues to pursue his interests in community wellness. His Asian healing practices include qigong and Taoist meditation techniques with traditional psychodynamic and cognitive approaches. Randy’s QiRecovery program has been implemented with various populations including spectrum autism, high school, community recreation departments, and corporate wellness programs.

Anna Marti, an intimacy coach and erotic evangelist in Portland, OR.  is passionate about supporting men and women of all ages, all orientations, alone or partnered towards creating new and practical maps towards a vibrant and nourishing erotic connection with themselves and the world.  Along with a private practice and mentoring, she is a featured speaker at conferences and universities, providing a bridge between esoteric ‘tantric’ teaching and western psychotherapeutic and somatic practices that are congruent with personal values.

Claire Rumore is a certified feng shui practitioner, sexuality educator, energy awareness coach, and sacred sensuality guide to men, women, couples, and students.  Her personal specialization is aligning mind, body and spirit --in the body-temple as well as the home-temple-- to enhance abundance, intimacy, and conscious relating for greater pleasure and happiness.  Claire incorporates the teachings of sacred sensuality, Tantra and Shamanism into her feng shui and coaching work.

Madeline C. Gerwick is an internationally recognized, business/economic, and personal astrologer, speaker and author. She has a BA degree with honors in economics, and she's listed in several Who's Who books, including Who's Who in the World. She annually writes The Good Timing Guide and she co-authored The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Astrology. She also teaches prosperity training to business people and hosts her own broadcast radio show weekly in Seattle and online.

Mark A. Michaels (Swami Umeshanand Saraswati) and Patricia Johnson (Devi Veenanand) are a devoted married couple and have been teaching Tantra together since 1999. They have been featured on television and radio and in numerous publications. Their approach combines traditional lineage-based Tantra with the best contemporary methods so that students can bring heightened awareness and an expanded capacity for pleasure into all aspects of everyday life. Michaels and Johnson are the authors of The Essence of Tantric Sexuality (Llewellyn, 2006), which won the USA Book News National Best Books 2007 Award in Health: Sexuality. Their second book, Tantra for Erotic Empowerment: The Key to Enriching Your Sexual Life (Llewellyn 2008) won the 2008 USA Book News Award, also in Health: Sexuality, was selected as an Indie Excellence Awards finalist in New Age Non-Fiction, and is a ForeWord Magazine Books of the Year Award finalist in the Body, Mind and Spirit category.

Sasha (Alex) Lessin, Ph.D. (U.C.L.A), Dean of the School of Tantra studied with Drs. Jack Annon, David Quigley, Stanislav Grof, William Baldwin, Irving Katz, Hal and Sidra Stone, as well as Dick Price, Terrence McKenna and Zecharia Sitchin.  Dr. Lessin apprenticed in Tantra with Charles and Caroline Muir.  With and wife Janet Kira Lessin, Professor Lessin developed All- Chakra Tantra which blends relationship counseling, childhood and pastlife re-reprogramming, Holotropic Breathwork, Voice Dialogue, spirit releasement and sacred journey meditation with neotantra.

Shivaraj (James Jarvis) is a Master Vedic & Western Astrologer, Career/ Dharma Coach and Transpersonal Counselor (M.A.) Through his international, internet-based practice, Shivaraj has helped thousands of people discover, clarify & manifest their inherent gifts and life purpose. Chía Ortegón is a multi-dimensional Renaissance Artist. Her know-how includes creative direction, visual art, WebTV production, fashion design, journalism, WebTV content, color psychology, channeling, modern mysticism, and relationship coaching. Ultimately, Chía is an Alchemist. Her artist statement is about sacred-sensuality and female-energy as a balancing force weaving the awakening of a new relationships’ paradigm.

David Gersten, M.D. is half musician/composer and half healer/doctor.  He practices nutritional medicine, and integrative psychiatry, adding his knowledge and experience of spirituality, nutrition, and sacred sexuality to his healing work.  Composer of 2,200 songs, and 5 recorded symphonic works, author of “Are You Getting Enlightened Or Losing Your Mind?”  A modern day shaman, skilled in remote healing, his spiritual approach is mainly a blend of Eastern spirituality and Native American.

Grace Rosen, M.C., M.Ed., B.S. Author, spiritual counselor, sensual educator, naturist & shamanic healer & visionary.  Grace’s 20 year expertise in breath, energy and creativity includes an energy mastery program for men, women’s empowerment & cultivating source energy, creativity salons for artists and writers, and transformative practices for sexual wounding integration via authentic tantric principles, integrative breathing and shamanic practices. robert silber, M.S., L.M.T., teaches through the Institute for Conscious Sensuality which he founded.  He has founded intenational communities (La'akea, Essensual Evolution), organized political and environmental campaigns (Sierra Club), teaches permaculture, and is now creating the new learning/living center "Kipuka Temple" on the island of Hawai'i.  His sensuality work focuses on empowerment, communication and the healing power of relaxed, integrative sensuality.  He is a licensed massage therapist and utilizes lomi-lomi, thai, pelvic release and other modaliities.  When not in Hawaii he is traveling and teaching.  He practices Ashtanga yoga and loves to garden.
