Question for Grace:
How do PC muscle pull ups help with ejaculation control or fitness?
Answer:
WEBMD physician acknowledges that kegels for men may be beneficial for strengthening bladder control yet claims there is no evidence the kegel pull ups help with ED (erectile dysfunction) concerns.
Kegels are an inner exercise of engaging the web of 7 muscles I call the “lower bowl” of the body. This inner exercise is similar to a yogic banda or “energy lock” of the lower bowl of the body.
Tantric view is developing the agility and functioning of the lower bowl and the awareness of one’s levels or plateaus of arousal is a developmental milestone as important as the developmental milestone of anal sphincter awareness and consciousness of colonic peristalsis that enables us to have a bowl movement when nature calls.
Bringing your conscious awareness to your lower bowl in which the bladder and prostate gland rest and synchronizing your breath while physically lifting or squeezing the muscles on a regular basis, tones the muscles and provides an inner massage for the prostate as well as the bladder.
The prostate is an important gland to be considered for a man’s overall health with circulation and routine flushing, keeping this gland functioning optimally is a great alternative to having it removed prematurely.
Glancing through WEBMD section on Men’s Heath & Sexuality, I was searching to see if there was any mention of preventative practices or any alternatives to taking a pill or medication for conditions I have found are more due to a lack of awareness or routine habits of self pleasuring that have literally choked the life out of some men’s members.
A steady stance of approaching sexuality with a yang approach of fast friction and tensing the body to get to the “good of coming” constricts blood, lymph and energy flow through the body to the point that some men can’t come as often as they’d like end up coming without a full erection.
It is not a good idea to make this a regular practice because it creates more imbalance in a body already demonstrating symptoms of not allowing or nurturing the organ to fully engorge with blood and fluids that naturally lead to a fluid flushing from the prostate during semen emission.
Benefits of breathing into the bowls of the body open it to becoming a container or vessel overflowing with energy and life. The upper bowl of the body expands opening up the heart to work more efficiently; increased lung capacity helps relax the diaphragm open up a more full body feeling.
The pelvic floor in the lower bowl opens up the energy flow in the kidney meridian, adrenals, bladder, prostate and the entire urogenital complex of nerves and activates with conscious connected breathing as well as other breathing exercises and movement
The tantric practice of ‘lifting’ the lower bowl of the body does not intend to address all ED concerns, however I have found over the last 15 years great success with 91 % of the men who have come to me with PE concerns. When they become more aware of their inner flow of energy which I coach and guide in a 90 min. tune in session.
I provide preparation exercises to assist the beginner to bring awareness to the lower bowl of the pelvis, encourages more blood circulation and muscle toning for men who have an extended belly. This practice helps begin to “tone” this lower core web of muscles to carry and hold one’s sexual flow in a conscious way.
The pubococcygeus, or PC, muscle spreads out like butterfly wings at the bottom of the pelvis and acts like a cradle for the sexual organs, urethra, and anus. It is the basic muscle of the pelvic floor and controls the opening and closing of the urethra, seminal canal, vagina, and anus.
The PC muscle is what you rely on when you are stuck in a traffic jam, desperately wanting to urinate but unable to do so. It controls the flow of urine and can feel like a valve, closing and opening around the genital area, and you may also feel a tightening around the anus. Men feel the PC muscle when they bear down to squeeze out the last drops of urine.
Pelvic floor muscle exercises don’t need to be elaborate or complicated to be effective. Just incorporating three simple exercises into your morning routine can make a significant difference. Start with just 10 minutes in the morning. If you feel little to no soreness, increase to twice a day; 10 minutes each morning and evening. Within six weeks you should reach a satisfactory level of control and achieve intensified orgasms.

* next blog will address how tantric practices naturally enhance both PNS (parasympathetic) and SNS (sympathetic) responses in the body. Breath, energy and tantric exercises enhance optimal homeostasis of the body’s entire CNS (central nervous system).
